My name is Abraham Cooper. I am a Mexican American videographer, born and based in Tucson, Arizona. For more than twenty years, I have worked as a professional freelance videographer, driven by a lifelong passion for filmmaking, history, and folklore. This passion led me to study Anthropology at the University of Arizona, where my research focuses on how humans make meaning through stories — a foundation that continues to shape my approach to crafting wedding films.

I was inspired to start Hieros Films while planning my own wedding and envisioning how it could be captured. Through that experience, I realized how rewarding it would be to help other couples tell their story. My deep interest in human relationships and symbolism has given me a unique lens through which I view love, connection, and ritual. I believe marriage is a ritual every couple makes their own, and it's my duty to capture each one as authentically as possible.

As the founder and lead videographer of Hieros Films, my vision is to create films that feel honest, intimate, and enduring — true reflections of who you are as a couple. I strive to capture moments that are raw yet elegant, minimal yet meaningful, at times seemingly ordinary yet profound. When these moments are woven together through editing, a beautiful narrative emerges.
